The Founder

Jamal Jones

Founder & CEO

Jamal Jones is the Founder and CEO of Velasight, a graph-native decision intelligence platform for institutional commercial real estate underwriting. He designed and built the platform from the ground up -- including the GraphSAGE GNN architecture, Neo4j property graph, multi-agent orchestration layer, and institutional PDF reporting pipeline.

His background spans internet backbone infrastructure across Southern EMEA at UUNet (acquired by Verizon Business), market analytics at the Atlanta Housing Authority, and graduate research at the intersection of graph machine learning and institutional asset valuation. He holds an MSIRE from FIU's Hollo School of Real Estate, where he studied under Dr. Eli Beracha, Director, and Dr. William Hardin, Dean of the College of Business.

Velasight is active across Atlanta, GA and Amsterdam, the Netherlands with data center siting pipelines running in the Douglasville I-20W corridor and the Netherlands. The Miami metro region is currently under development. The platform has been accepted into the Google for Startups and Neo4j Startup Programs. Jamal was inducted into Marquis Who's Who in 2025.
